Frances June Leonardo nee Jacobs age 88. Longtime Mokena resident, formerly of Chicago Ridge. Native of Story County, Iowa. Beloved wife for 50 years of Bernard “Bennie” Leonardo. Loving mother of Charles, James “Jimmy” and John Leonardo. Devoted grandmother of Charlie and Karie Leonardo. Daughter of the late Emma nee Lenz and Charles Jacobs. Sister of the late Leonard, Bert and Delbert Jacobs. Dear aunt and friend of many. Devoted to her family, her faith and her friends, Frances loved cooking and caring for her family, sharing her life’s story, the sandy beaches, and the beauty of each and every day. Hers, was a life well lived. She will be missed…but joyfully remembered. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Thursday February 18th from 3:00 PM until time of funeral service at 8:00 PM.
