Jack Cappozzo Jr. Age 91. Longtime Park Forest Resident, formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of Fenger High School. Received his Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Illinois-Champaign. Retired Chief Architect having worked at Johnson and Johnson Architectural Firm, MidAmerica Engineers and Jacobs Engineering. Fellow Spaghetti-O. Jack was very proud of his Italian heritage. Husband for 67 years of Delores Garczynski. Father of Glynis (Daniel) Doyle, Jack (Maureen) Cappozzo and Jerome “Jerry” (Cathy) Cappozzo. Grandfather of Richard (Rachel) Doyle, Samuel Doyle, Abigail (Matthew) Milligan, Christopher Cappozzo and Haley (Katie Steinbach) Cappozzo. Son of the late Rose nee Carollo and Giacomo Cappozzo Sr. Brother of the late Gino (late Emily) Cappozzo, Norma (late Peter) Cannella and Alfonsa (late Anthony) Mannarelli. Uncle and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday August 16, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Oh Glynis, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. No matter how old we get, losing a parent is like no other loss. I hope his passing was peaceful and that you are doing as ok as you can be. I can see the resemblance between you and him in the beautiful picture! May he live with the angels !
