James A. “Jimmy” Di Santo, age 92. Passed away peacefully September 12, 2018. Schererville resident, formerly of Homewood, Riverdale and Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Pullman Tech Graduate Class of 1944. United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Retired with over 50 years of service as a Country Club Manager at Olympia Fields Country Club and LaGrange Country Club. Husband for 61 years of the late Louise nee Bedzyk. Father of James (Mary) Di Santo, Denise (Terrence) Lynch, William (Marina) Di Santo and Michael (Kimberly) Di Santo. Grandfather of 12. Great grandfather of 20. Great-great grandfather of 3. Brother of Grace (late Ted) Pecora, Rose (Nick) Zagotta, Anthony (Laurie) Di Santo and the late Dominic (late Pearl), Carl (late Katherine) Di Santo and Josephine (late Augustino) Dal Santo. Son of the late Catherine nee Adducci and Alec Di Santo. Jimmy enjoyed the horses, watching sports, spending time with his siblings and watching his family grow. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday September 16, 2018 from 12:00 PM until time of service at 4:30 PM.
