Rachel, you won the lottery with John.  And so did he, with you.  I love you both to pieces, always and forever.

Rachel and my wife Pam have been loving and loyal friends since 1976. While never coming close to the bond our wives shared,  I was most fortunate to know John and privileged to call him friend. Of course, I will forever remember John for all of the good times his life efforts afforded his family. But just as importantly, at a time when John found himself between careers, in a true measure of a man he did what he had to for the sake of family. To you dear Rachel and to the entire Ippolito family I wish for all of you, as John intended, to forever feel surrounded by his love.

Rachel, I just heard of John's passing while I was up in Wisconsin last week. I am so sad and so sorry to hear of this.  Even though I have not seen him in many years, I will always remember how funny and nice he was.  He was such a good guy.  My prayers to you and your family, and also to John.  Hold on to all the years of love and memories to help you get through this very sad time.  Love to you all.
