I am saddened to hear the news about Uncle Larry. He was an incredibly great man. So many wonderful memories of living on 114th and Union Avenue and skating in the backyard. I'm sure he will be missed every day. My sympathies and condolences to Aunt Netti and the entire Panozzo family.

My fellow classmate, class of 1943 of St. Anthony Di Padua grammar school.  We will always remember that Larry was responsible for planning and arranging class reunions annually.  My deepest regrets to you, Netti, and your family .  Larry is now with our other classmates who have gone to Heaven.  I share your sorrow too, since I too have lost my partner of 70 years, my beloved John.   You are all in my prayers .  God Bless You.

Our sincere condolences to the Panozzo family.  Our families go back to the days in Roseland and I remember my first Bulls game when Mr. Panozzo took our little league team after winning the championship. May the good Lord bless his soul and bring you strength and peace during this difficult time.

Uncle Larry was innately sensitive to every family situation and need. He helped us so many times in his special way. I'll never forget his kindness, his warm smile, twinkly eyes and genuine interest in people. Both Netti and Larry were such dear friends of my parents, Babe and Bruna, and we loved being neighbors with card games, laughter and also ice skating with all the kids. As a young adult I once ran into him in downtown Chicago (maybe a restaurant bar called Yvette's?) where he was enjoying Johnny Frigo's music and introduced me. He was a fun-loving man on top of it all!
