I am not sad as she left behind enough joy and happiness to last me a lifetime.  I will not miss her because everyday I hear her loving words and her laugh in my mind and I feel her presence in my heart.  Everything she said, every little deed, every card she sent, every hug she gave, and every look she sent your way was to make you know you were special to her.  She wanted nothing more in return than for us to be happy and to feel loved.  I will not let her down in that regard.  She squeezed whatever good she could from the life that God gave her and shared that goodness with all of us, and in return, He will reward her with eternal blessings…..and we will always honor her legacy of a lifetime of love and family and friends and sharing and pride and service to others.  Well, ok, I might miss her pancakes and the occasional emptiness in my mailbox on those special days where she seemed to never miss the chance to let you know in writing that you were special.  But that smile, and sometimes that smirk, are in my head and heart forever.  I am good.  Thank you, Aunt Marilyn.  We love you, too.
