Martin J. “Marty” Napoli. Age 90. Longtime Homewood resident, formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of Fenger High School Class of 1952. Received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Western Illinois University. United States Army Veteran. Retired Director of Purchasing Agent starting his career at YMCA Metro Chicago and Retiring from Loyola University. Active St Joseph Parish. Marty enjoyed playing the trumpet. He played with many friends, The Bob Adduci Quartet and at St Joseph Church holiday masses. Husband for 65 years of Mary Jeanine nee Connole. Father of Martin “Marty” (Tammy) Napoli, Lynn (Michael) Marynowski and Frank (Kimberly) Napoli. Grandfather of Dominic (Maeve Derrig) Napoli, Maggy Napoli and Sienna Napoli. Son of the late Antoinette (late Frank) Napoli-Adduci Napoli and Dominick Adduci. Brother of the late Carmela (late Samuel) Maranto, Thomas (MaryLou) Adduci,  Roseline (late Theodore “Ted”) Jostes, Carl (late Judy) Adduci and James Adduci. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday September 13, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Saturday September 14, 2024 9:15 am from funeral home to St John Neumann Parish (formerly St Joseph Church), Homewood. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marty’s name to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Fl 17, Chicago, IL, 60601 or www.alz.org would be appreciated by the Napoli family.     Mr. Napoli was a wonderful family man loved by so many and he will truly be missed.  We will always remember his warm smile and outgoing personality.  May you find comfort in all of your wonderful memories of your times spent together.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  May he rest in peace.

    I'm so very sorry for your loss.  Marty was such a wonderful friend to me and my parents.  So many wonderful memories together especially in Florida.  Prayers for your family and may he rest in peace.

    What a great man we lost he was so special in my dad's life. They were best friends. My dad would tell stories about them playing in the band even came for my dad's second Wedding and that was special. Remember the great memories you had with your dad I know they're up there now raising hell and having fun playing in the band
