Retired from the City of Chicago Heights after 30 years of service. Currently working at the Chicago Heights Park District as Maintenance Supervisor. Husband for 18 years of Rachel nee Mungia. Step-father of Joy (Chris) Rangel, Michelle Aldana and Daniel Guevara. Grandfather of Bianca (Michael) Pena, Sarrah Mireles, Mikayla, Michael and McKenzie Aldana, Daniel, Rolando and Geno Guevara. Great grandfather of Lyla Marie and Joseph Pena, Addy Mireles and Luke Aldana. Son of the late Lillian Michelina nee Cesarano  and Ernest Swortz. Brother of the late Kenny (Sherri) Swortz. Uncle and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Tuesday November 22, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.     Our thoughts an prayers Rachel from his cousins an relatives here in Wisconsin where he loved to vacation an collect all his Trinkets for "Mike's Room"! We lost a good one!

    I truly have no words to express the loss I feel. The experiences we shared as brothers from different mothers is unmeasurable. His parents Lil and Ernie were like second parents. Mike, " I'll see you on the lakes, I'll miss bro."

    To Rachel, family and friends in Chicago and the Waupaca area my prayers are always with you. Mike was one of the best!!
