Paul Strasser. Age 73. Longtime South Chicago Heights resident, formerly of Crete and Chicago’s Jackson Park Neighborhood. Graduate of Marian Catholic High School. Received his Teaching Degree from Governors State University. United States Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. Retired Teacher at Chicago
Heights Lincoln Elementary School and School Mentor of the Chicago Heights School District 170. Husband for 52 years of Ronda nee Ruse. Father of Amy (Jeremy) Brouwer and Elizabeth “Lizzy” (Omar) Briones. Grandfather of Dominic and Lilia Briones. Son of Bettejean nee Grimes and the late Francis Strasser. Brother of Greg (Kathy) Strasser, John (Dorothy) Strasser, Mark (Carla) Strasser and Jim (Adrienne) Strasser. Uncle and friend of many. Memorial Visitation at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Saturday January 29, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until time of Memorial Services 3:00 pm.     My condolences to Ronda and the Family. Paul and I worked together in SD170. His office was right next door to mine. Paul was such a wonderful teacher and an amazing man. He will be missed by all who knew him.

    Our deepest sympathy to Rhonda and the family. Paul & I worked together in recent years on the Fine Arts festival and shared many laughs together. He truly loved teaching and was a positive influence on many young people in SD 170. I will miss his witn and sense of humor. Rest In Peace, my friend!

    Our deepest condolences to the family.  I taught with Paul for many years at Lincoln School.  He worked for my husband for a couple years.  He was a great teacher and good friend.  We have many fond memories!
