Walter C. Holtz Jr. age 92. Lifelong Chicago Heights resident passed away peacefully on July 11th, with his beloved family at his side. Bloom H.S. graduate. U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of WW II. Retired from Illinois Bell Telephone/AT&T after 42 years of service as a Lineman and Troubleshooter. Husband for 72 years of Patricia nee Harvey. Father of Cindy (Len) DiAnni, Sandy (Bob) Quinn, Scott (Cynthia), Mark (Kim) and David Holtz. Proud grandfather of 14, great grandfather of 27, and great-great grandfather of 2. Brother of the late Lillian (Robert) Muench. Dear friend of many. Body will lie in state at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 330 W. Highland Dr. (10th St. & Ashland Ave.), Chicago Heights on Saturday July 14, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial St. Paul’s Cemetery, Flossmoor.
