William A. “Bill” Russell age 70. Longtime Chicago Heights resident. Graduated from Homewood Flossmoor High School class of 70. United States Air Force Veteran and retired production manager. William Russell was an active community member in the Chicago Heights area coaching Basketball and Volleyball at St. Kieran School and baseball for Olympia Terrace Youth Association “O.T.Y.A.” Husband for 42 years to Colleen nee Grady. Father to Joshua (Amy) Russell, Jeffrey (Melissa) Russell, Christine Russell-Estock and Patrick (Madelyn) Russell. Grandfather of Ava, Garrett, Grace, Casey, Emma, Mila, Brayden, Maverick and Leighton Russell. Son of the late June nee Christiansen and George Russell. Brother to Lauren Goldstein and Leslie (Grady) Gipson. Uncle and friend to many. Memorial visitation at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blocks E of Western Ave) Chicago heights on Sunday March 26th 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Burial private.
