Armand “Mando” DeQui, age 86. Longtime Lansing resident formerly of Roseland. Retired after 30 years of service as the Comptroller for International Harvester/Navistar, where he was instrumental in setting up the Rome, Italy offices for the company. Served with the U.S. Army Finance Corps during the Korean War. Husband for 48 years of the late Janet nee Krumnow. Brother of the late Elvira (late Robert) Cassidy. Uncle of Marie Cassidy. Great uncle of Kelly (Brian) Glassberg and Michael Timko. Great great uncle of Erik Gleim and Noelle Glassberg. Graduate of St. Anthony Grammar School, Mt. Carmel High School and the University of Chicago. Lifelong parishioner of St. Anthony Parish he was a proud member of the Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus San Salvador Council and the longtime co-chairman of the yearly St. Anthony Dinner Dance and Reunion. His tireless efforts on behalf of the parish are appreciated and will be long remembered. Resting at Panozzo Bros Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Thursday July 28th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at Friday morning at St. Anthony Church, 11533 S. Prairie Ave, Chicago for a 9:30 AM funeral mass.
