Retired Sales and Claims for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Longtime parishioner of the former St Lawrence O’Toole Church. Wife for 52 years of the late Thomas H. Jostes. Mother of James Jostes, Beth Jostes and the late Donald Jostes. Grandmother of Kevin Barker and Kara (Nolan) Martch. Great grandmother of Alice Martch. Daughter of the late Gladys nee Marhoefer and William O’Connell. Sister of the late William (Kay) O’Connell, Esther (late Jim) Beauchamp and Robert (late Caroline) O’Connell. Sister in law of the late Theodore “Ted” (late Rose) Jostes Jr and George (late Phyllis) Jostes. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation at Panozzo Bros. Barb and I met in the late 60s when we were each looking to buy a home in the area. We both looked at the same houses in Olympia Gardens area. I thought one house was too small and other too big. We each got the one just right for our family. We shared coffee with many women in the area for many years. Many memories and fun stories to remember about Barb. Rest in peace old friend. Hugs to Beth and Jim. Your Mom was a special woman. She was always proud of both of you. Donna and family

Jim & Beth, I am so sorry about the loss of your mother. She was a gem ! I was so fortunate to work with her At Liberty. So many good times ! Marching band videos ! The time she came into work dressed as an old man, mask as well. Scared the hell out of us all with her cane. We had no clue who it was. The time I put a big sign saying "It's my Birthday, HONK " on the back of her car. She wondered why everyone was honking at her all the way home ! hahaha. I found out the hard way, she was scared of snakes by bringing a rubber one & putting it on her desk. She put her head down on her desk & I think, fainted a little. Boozy Christmas parties & her delicious little cheesecake squares ! God rest your soul. Loved you very much. So glad we got to reconnect.
