Betty C. Ruzich nee Scheiflinger. Age 91. Lifelong resident of Olympia Fields. Bowen High School graduate.  Member of the Park Forest Garden Club, TOPP’s Weight Loss Group, Shawl Ministry at St. Stephen’s Church, very active in the Olympia Fields Community and loved working in her yard.  Betty spearheaded the formation of the Park Forest Junior Garden Club.  Wife for 52 years of the late William Ruzich Sr.  Loving mother of Christine (Mark) Losey, Mark (Frances), Steven (Patti), Dr Janet (Jeffery) Ruzich-Hanks and the late William Ruzich Jr.  Grandmother of Bill, Clinton (Lauren), Timothy (Ellen), Nathan (Maggie) and Amanda Ruzich. Great grandmother of Sawyer, Peyton and Rory Ruzich. Daughter of the late Lucia nee Krenn and John Scheiflinger. Sister of Alvine (Michael) Gbur and the late John Scheiflinger. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friend to many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Monday December 28, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral Tuesday 10:15 am from funeral home to St Mary Church, 227 Monee Road, Park Forest. Mass 11:00 AM. Interment St Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
