Retired after 43 years of service from the Illinois Central/Metra Railroad. Husband for 47 years of Michele nee Erickson. Father of Tim (Kamila) Rylander, Christina Rylander, and Ken (Emily) Rylander. Grandfather of Jonas, Sabina, and Chase Rylander. Son of the late Martha nee Jennings and Kenneth Rylander. A very good man to work with. Carl was firm but always fair. A very good sense of humor at all times. A great attribute to railroaders. Rest in peace my friend.
