Received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Ball State University and Master's Degree in Education Administration from Governors State University. Retired Special Education Teacher starting her career at Rich Central High School, SPEED Cooperative and in the Matteson and Flossmoor School Districts. Longtime member and Past President of the American Legion Post 1198 Women’s Auxiliary. Past President of the Illinois JCI Senate and Director of the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation. Executive Director of Tall Grass Arts Association in Park Forest. Wife for 38 years of William Patterson. Proud Mother of Mary (Michael Nettleton) Patterson. Beloved Stepmother of Sean (fiancé Kimberly Januszewski) Patterson, Lisa (Joseph) Niemeyer, Kelly (Stephen) Manchac. "Grandma Kate" of Jaclyn and Evalyn Januszewski and Kelsey Niemeyer. Daughter of the late Catherine nee Frantz and Charles Osburn. Sister of Charles Osburn and Robert (Melissa) Harrison. Aunt, friend, and mentor to many. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
