Charles M. “Chick” Shedwill, age 78. Longtime Sauk village resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Retired in 2006 from Girard Fastener after 23 years of service. U.S. Navy Veteran/USS Haynsworth-Destroyer DD700. Husband of the late Kathleen “Cookie” nee Kleist. Father of Jeannie Yacobozzi and the late Joanne Shedwill. Grandfather of Amber and Jamie Lee Krawczykowski, Christopher Mitchell, Jennifer Levesque, April McDaniel and Ashley Machek. Great grandfather Emma, Eleanore, Trey, Gauge, Audriana, Sophia and Macy. Son of the late Eleanore nee Gruca and Charles Shedwill. Brother of Patricia Lodewegen, Larry Shedwill and the late Nancy Carlson. Uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
