Concetta “Connie” Faso nee Pagoria age 99. Lifelong Chicago Heights resident, passed away peacefully at her home on September 26th surrounded by her family. Graduate of St. Agnes Grammar School and Bloom High School. Wife for 44 years of the late Phillip J. Faso. Mother of Concelia (Paul) Giorgi, John (Michele) Faso, Angela (late Leonard) Carlman, Joseph (Sue Caprio) Faso and Phillip (Livia) Faso. Grandmother of Paul III, Thomas, Geoffrey, and Gina Giorgi, Taressa Leonardo, Christopher Faso, Anjoli Siller, Cara Mooses, Christa Lund, Lauren, Phillip and Bianca Faso. Loving “Bedda” to her great-grandchildren Jenna, Grant, Elena, Alyssa, Enzo, Elle, Brody, Trace, Alexandria, Christian, Francesca, Michael John, Nicholas, Alessia, Lilliana, Maximilian and Adelynn. Daughter of the late Angeline nee LoBue and Joseph Pagoria. Sister of Rose Macaluso and the late Andretta ”Curly” Marconi, Celia Faso and Nick Pagoria. Mrs. Faso was a homemaker, who enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by and cooking her sumptuous Italian dishes for her five children and spouses/companions, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends who visited often. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle manner and her generous heart. She often referred to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as her “little chick-a-dees”, and pleased them with “whatever your little heart desires”. She was a joy to be around and her home often became the place to gather. Her greatest hobby for over 60 years was playing pinochle with her “club girls”. In earlier days, she was a member of the St. Agnes Altar and Rosary Society and the PTA. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday October 1st from 2:00 to 8:00 PM.
