Mother of Rita Bianchi and Rocco (Runa) Bianchi. Grandmother of Alexis Pigozzo, Dominic and Giulianna Bianchi. Daughter of the late Pearl nee Willette and Jospeh Sassano. Sister of the late Joseph (late Theresa) Sassano and Delores (Joseph) Tollis. Aunt and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Tuesday December 7, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services at funeral home Wednesday 10:00 AM. Diane was a wonderful person. Always checking up on someone to make sure they were ok. She carried her illness well and when I saw her she would not want to talk about herself but of others. She loved her family more than anything else. I will miss seeing her around. ❤️

Diane was a truly good soul. I will always remember her kindness and her smile. She was blessed with a family she loved. While she leaves a hole in our hearts, she is out of pain. I am thankful she was my friend.

Benny, Rocco and Rita, I am truly sorry for your loss. Diane was the glue in your lives and loved you unconditionally. She was always welcoming to me. Take care and know that you are loved.

Rita and Rocco, Sincere condolences on the loss of your fantastic mother. I always admired your mother's caring and selfless nature. She was a true friend and someone who was always a pleasure to be with. Your mom had great humor which she kept through the health struggles. She showed all of us what true courage and a positive outlook looks like. You two were her biggest source of pride and joy. You BOTH showed her true unconditional love. I am so sorry for your loss. Benny, No one can ever replace the amazing person that Diane was. My thoughts are with you during this time. I am so sorry for your loss.

Rita, Benny and Rocco. I am so sorry for the loss of Diane. She was a good friend to me in the 70's and 80's, until we left Illinois. I always admired her strength. She made the best bread with a handful of this, and a pinch of that. May she rest in peace.
