Dolores G. Fanti nee Samuels. Age 97. Resident of New Lenox, formerly of Calumet Park and Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of St Louis of France Grammar School and Fenger High School Class of 1947. Received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from DePaul University and Master’s Degree in English from Governors State University. Elementary Teacher for over 40 years starting at St. Anthony Catholic Grammar School in Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood, Seven Holy Founders in Calumet Park retiring from New Lenox District 122 in 1995. She enjoyed cooking, movies and knitting. She always looked forward to the “KnitWitz” monthly lunch gathering. Wife for 65 years of the late Aldo N. Fanti. Mother of Rosemary (Richard Koranda) Fanti and the late Mary Beth (Ric) Rebollar. Grandmother of Dominic Rebollar. Daughter of the late Stella nee Bierczychudak and George Samuels. Sister of the late George John (Pat) Samuels. Aunt of nine nieces and nephews. Friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
