United States World War II Navy Pilot Veteran. Retired Chemical Engineer after 35 years of service from Stauffer Chemical in Chicago Heights. Husband for 72 years of the late Geraldine nee Phelan. Father of Kenneth (M. Kristine) Peters, Nancy Wojack, Janet (late Gary) Sons and the late Charles “Chuck” Peters. Grandfather of Nick (Allison) Peters, Mary Kathryn (Steven) Schaefer, Alison and Alec Wojack, Brenna Norder, Arthur (Cherie) and Andrew Sons. Great grandfather of Michael, Sara Beth, Anna Claire and Joseph Peters, Mary Elise and Luke Schaefer, Isabelle and Lily Norder, Chase and Vincent Johns, Nicholas, Gianna and Mia Sons. Son of the late Lenora nee O’Connor and Earl Peters. Brother of the late Erv (late Elsie) and Charles “Chuck” Peters. Uncle and friend to many. Burial was private.
