Donna J. Oosterbaan - 92

Donna J. Oosterbaan (nee Cellos), aged 92, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024. Donna was born in Chicago to Loretta (nee Keaveney) and Kingdon Cellos and was a proud longtime resident of Chicago's Roseland neighborhood and Frankfort, Illinois. She graduated from St. Willibrord Catholic High School and married the late Peter Oosterbaan in 1952. Donna's sense of adventure and interest in travel eventually lead her to become a travel agent. She will be remembered for her intelligence, charm, feistiness, and sense of humor. Donna is survived by her four children, Drew (Anna) Oosterbaan, Melissa King, Jennifer Oosterbaan, and Max Oosterbaan; her three grandchildren, Spencer (Leigh) King, Madeleine King, and Eion Oosterbaan; her two great-grandchildren Claire and Nora King; her sister Gloria (late Robert) Nehf; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at St James of the Sag Church, 10600 S Archer Ave, Lemont, IL on Wednesday November 20, 2024 for Memorial Mass 10:00 am. Interment private. Info Panozzo Bros.
