Doris Jane Zum Mallen nee Tyler age 91. Longtime resident of Frankfort’s Lincoln Estates area, born and raised in Eldora, IA. Along with her late husband, Doris owned and operated the Suburban Flying Service at Howell Airport in Crestwood and the Morris, IL. Airport. She enjoyed her many years serving the membership of Prestwick Country Club as Dining Room Hostess. Wife for 58 years of the late Albert Zum Mallen. Mother of Kathleen Grant, Susan Mulder, Michael (Brenda), Carl Zum Mallen and Mary (Michael) Kaiser. Grandmother of Scott (Jessica) and Stephen Grant, Jeffrey Mulder, Jean (Steve) Hancock, John (Kristeen), Jaime and Joanne Mulder, Karen, Karrie and Zachary Zum Mallen, Liz and Matthew Kaiser and the late Hannah Zum Mallen. Great grandmother of 24. Sister of Jean Smith, David Tyler and the late Patricia Machtemes and John Tyler. Beloved aunt and dear friend of many. Visitation and funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 4247 – 183rd St., Country Club Hills on Saturday morning October 28th from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM.
