Fern Rebedeau, nee Bergera. Age 97. Long Beach, IN resident, formerly of Palos Hills, Park Ridge, and Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Beloved wife of the late Francis “Bud”. Dear mother of Mary Beth (Mark Warden) Rebedeau and Susan (Rod Schlader) Rebedeau. Loving grandmother of Dallas (Jim) Collins, Alvaro (Elena) Warden, Blair Schlader, Katie (Bobby) Weiner, Anne (Andrew) Petersen, Mary Teresa (Patrick) Kelly, and Clare (fiancé Reese Koch) Schlader. Great grandmother of (almost) 14. Beloved “Aunt Doll” to three generations of nieces and nephews. She leaves many dear friends.

Fern will be joining her beloved husband and the rest of her family in heaven – parents Caterina and Pietro, sister Mary and husband Chuck Cavallo, and twin brother John and wife Mary Bergera. She looks forward to seeing departed friends there.

Family and friends will gather Tuesday October 19, 2021 from 10:30AM until time of funeral Mass at 11:30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 8245 W. 111th St., Palos Hills, IL, 60465 Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip. MARYBETH, MARK, SUSAN TO ALL OF YOUR FAMILY. I JUST LOVED SEEING YOUR MOM FERN AND TAKING CARE OF HER NEEDS AT THE OPHTHALMOLOGIST. WE HAD MANY WONDERFUL TALKS OF JESUS BLESSED MOTHER PADRE PIO AND ST. RITA. I SHALL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER LOVE OF HER FAITH AND FAMILY .
