Genoveva Lopez Sanchez - 86

Genoveva Lopez Sanchez took her first breath on December 29th, 1939 in General Teran, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She became a traveler at the very young age of 3 when she moved with her family to Weslaco, Texas. Once again Texas became the Lone Star state when she lost both of her parents; Maria de los Santos Lugo and Roberto Lopez as well as her late siblings: Ramiro Munoz and Guadalupe Lopez, but was survived by her little brother Ubaldo (Esther) Flores. Genoveva set off to a new journey as a mother of four. Soon afterwards they traveled to Chicago Heights, after a brief time in Crete, IL., where she continued to grow her family. Genoveva worked for over 20 years cleaning houses for Catholic Charities providing for her 8 beautiful children; Genaro Garcia, Juanita Zamora, Jesusa (Manuel) Ramirez, Maria Trinidad (Albert) Dominguez, Trinidad A. (Irene) Zamora, Teresa Del Toro, Lenor (Clemente) Viera, and Debra (Heriberto) Zarate. In 1983 Genoveva found her lifelong partner and husband Abel Sanchez Zarate. In 1990 she became a devoted witness of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Steger, IL. Genoveva devoted her entire life to her family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. Genoveva rested on September 11th, 2026 at the young age of 86. She will forever be remembered, cherished and honored. Resting at Panozzo Bros. En 1990 se convirtió como una testiga devota del Salón del Reino de Jehová en Steger, Illinois. Genoveva dedicó toda su vida a su familia, a sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos y amigos.
