Gerald A. “Jerry” Kratovil. Age 65. Longtime Evergreen Park resident, formerly of Oak Forest. Graduate of Hillcrest High School Class of 1978. Worked over 40 years as a Machinist and Shop Maintenance currently at Anderson Copper and Brass, and formerly at Cobra Metal Works and Calumet Screw and Machine Products. Jerry was an avid Fisherman and Thrill Seeker enjoying Amusement Parks and Skiing. Father of Jeremy (Shana) Kratovil and Whitney (fiancé Peter Rundle) Kratovil. “Papa Jerry” of Adlee and Camden Kratovil. Son of Edwin “Ed” Kratovil and the late Dolores J Collett. Brother of Pamela Nelin. Uncle of Christina Nelin, Nichole (Jon) Paxton, Stephanie (Tom) Nowicki and Michelle (David) Meyers. Great uncle of Elliana and Amelia Paxton, Alexis, Tyler, Olivia, Elizabeth and Tom Nowicki, Lucas, Nathan and Hannah Meyers. Friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Very saddened by loss of one of my best friends whose friendship spanned 40+ years. Could not ask for a better person for a friend & business partner. My condolences go out to the Family,Ed, Pam, Jeremy & Whitney. God Speed.
