Husband for 50 years of the late Irmgard nee Abendroph. Father of Gerald L. (Deborah) Sill Jr and the late Catharina Sill. Grandfather “OPA”of Kristen (David) Adorno, Kyle Sill, Israel Sill, Ethan Sill, Anneliese (Dennis) Bowman, Nicole (Christopher) Jones, William (Christine) Gerlock. Great grandfather of Jeremiah Perez, Izabella Adorno, Tyler Bowman, Joseph Bowman, Gerald Jones, Lillian Jones, Holden Gerlock. Son of the late Emmaline nee Ultch and Wilbur Sill. Brother of Judy (James) Taylor and the late Wilbur “Bill” (late Dolores) Sill and Virginia Billo. Uncle and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Monday January 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. So sorry to hear of his passing. I was in the military with Jerry from the start of basic training and all through our military life. He was a great guy and we have remained best friends. He will be missed by many. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Ron & Lou Rollings

Jerry, ich werde dich so vermissen. Du warst mein American Daddy, jederzeit für jeglichen Unfug zu haben. Demzufolge der größte Kindskopf den ich kannte. Dein Lachen, unsere Telefonate alles ist so plötzlich nur noch Erinnerung und das kann mir keiner nehmen. Eigentlich wollten wir uns nach Weihnachten sehen und ich für dich kochen. Tja, es kam einfach anders all geplant. Andererseits blieb dir genauso wie meiner Mama das Pflegeheim erspart. Dafür wart ihr beide nicht gemacht. Also kurz und schmerzlos.
