John J. Harrington Jr. Age 78. Longtime Lansing resident, formerly of Dolton and Chicago’s Rosemoor and Back of the Yards Neighborhoods. Attended Chicago Vocational School “C.V.S”. Retired after 38 years of service from Ford Motor Company as a Paint Repairer. Aside from spending time with his family, John enjoyed working in the yard and anything that has to do with being outside. An event volunteer at the Greenstone Church in Chicago’s Historic Pullman Neighborhood. Husband for 59 years of Rosalie nee Griffiths. Father of John G. (Michelle) Harrington Sr and the late Patricia Miller. Grandfather of John G (Taylor) Harrington Jr, Tori Harrington, Kristyna Miller and the late Jimmy Miller. Great grandfather of Kinsley Paige Harrington. Son of the late Evellyn nee Noonan and John J. Harrington Sr. Brother of the late Joann Bickle. Uncle and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
