Carmel Catholic Grammar School, Bloom High School and Bloom Junior College/Prairie State College. Received his Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Illinois Chicago. United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Retired Dentist after 59 years of which he was Proprietor of John Marinucci DDS for 45 years on Dixie Highway in Chicago Heights. John was a car enthusiast owning Lotus, a Pantera and most recently a Chevy Corvette. John also enjoyed woodworking and an occasional fishing trip with his grandkids. Husband for 62 years of Sandra nee Rosone. Father of Lisa (Manuel) Perez, Lesley (Chris) White and John Marinucci. Grandfather of Matthew Ruhe, Joseph (Melanie) Ruhe, Adam (Courtney) Ruhe, Lauren (Joseph) Costello, Alex (fiancé Jess Bradtke) White, Aidan and Owen White. Great grandfather of Evan, Noah, Micah, Lydia and Abigail Ruhe. Son of the late Violet nee Miglioratti and John P. Marinucci. Brother of Joann (LeRoy) Marconi and the late Diana Marinucci. Uncle and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday July 18, 2025, from 9:00 am until the time of Funeral Service 12:00 noon.
