Received his Degree in Construction Engineering at Chicago Tech. Founder of Grilli Construction in Chicago Heights. Born and raised on the “Hungry Hill” lifelong San Rocco Church Parishioner and active member Amaseno Lodge #3 and Marchegiani Society. Founding member of the Builder’s Golf Club. Husband for 63 years of Susan nee Planera. Father of Robert “Bobby” (Jane) Grilli, Barbara (Daniel) Petrarca, Joseph (Laura) Grilli and Doreen (Paul) Gossage. Grandfather of Tommy (Taylor) Grilli, Bobby (fiancé Laura Tadros) Grilli, Amanda (fiancé Nick Kusner) Grilli, Daniel (Janelle) Petrarca, Micaela (fiancé Alex Kraft) Petrarca, Alexa (fiancé Jonathan Weber) Grilli, Joey Grilli, Valerie (fiancé Bryan Doyle) Grilli, Paul Gossage, Michael Gossage, and Nicolette Gossage. Great grandfather of Giada Grilli, Santino Grilli, Charlie Kusner, and Lyla Petrarca. Son of the late Susan nee Gianetti and Joseph Grilli. Brother of the late Alverado (late Donna) Grilli, Gloria Grilli, Pearl (late Carl) Apponi. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friend to many. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing, traveling (especially St Pete’s Beach, Florida), sharing a meal and always had a joke to share. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
