Larry Carta - 63

Lawrence Allen “Larry” Carta of Steger, IL, formerly of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood, passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 63 years. He attended St. Anthony of Padua Grade School and Marist High School. He was a superb salesman and could talk to anyone about anything. He loved his most recent position as a Quality Specialist at Amazon Fulfillment Center. He turned his great passion and knowledge of music into Coolalbumoftheday.com and was its publisher and creative director. He was a great fan of the Chicago White Sox and Blackhawks. Larry was the son of Katherine (nee Venturini) and Joseph Carta and the brother of Tina (David) Zambon and Dr Judith (Dr Charles Greenwood) Carta, cherished uncle of Amelia, and dearest friend of many. Memorial visitation at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Monday June 28, 2021, from 3:00 pm until time of memorial service 6:00 pm. Interment private.
