As the adage goes, "You can choose your friends but not your family." How blessed I was to have both in 1 package! My mother, Ida Toigo and Les's mom Mary, my 1st cousin, were pregnant at the same time. Les was older than me by 6 1/2 weeks. With the rest of the 1st cousins being anywhere from 6 to 25 years older, it was nice having someone close in age at get togethers. And with my sister Penny(Sister Angela) being Les's Godmother, I felt more of a connection with Les. Les was a great conversationalist and the animated way he would tell his stories, you knew he had to be Italian. Sometimes my face would hurt from smiling so much. To be in the presence of his company was truly enjoyable! My husband and I didn't get to see him as much as we would've liked to. Don't we all think there's more time?? So it is with such heavy hearts that Steve and I send our condolences to Sharon, his brother Lee, their families and the countless others who were fortunate to have had Les a part of their lives. Love you, Les! Ava (Toigo) Brescia

We are in total shock, as I am sure so are many of his family & friends. We were Les & Sharon's neighbors for over 20+ years. Our memories of Les are of a warm, friendly, happy, helpful friend & and neighbor. He took pride in his home & yard & vintage Motorcycle's. He will be missed by all who knew him. Our deepest sympathies to you Sharon , and to the family.

Miles will never distance The depth of respect Between Us Brothers Of the Mistress wind As you close your eyes Smile my friend Think of the many miles Still left to ride Hold onto memories Never give up Upon life For as long as I breathe You are a part of me As long as I ride You shall ride with me And when I leave here To join you there Others will ride for us Onward Forever Forward Into the wind
