Louise M. Lavarda nee Panozzo. Age 95. Longtime Cedar Lake resident, formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood/St Anthony Parish. Passed away peacefully August 12, 2026. Graduate of Pullman Tech School. Retired after 38 years of service in the Advertising Department at Marshall Fields in Chicago. Lifelong member of the Tresche Conca Society, Veneti del Mundo and Fellow Spaghetti’O. Wife of the late Louis J. Lavarda. Sister of Fred Panozzo, the late Ida (late Ray) Pollack, John T. Panozzo, Aldo “Babe” Panozzo, Cathy (late Conrad) Trent, Joe (Joan) Panozzo. Aunt Lou of Patricia (Ronald) Baldauf, Great Aunt Lou of Jason (Deb) Baldauf. Louise’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff at Sunrise of Flossmoor and Oasis Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Louise.
