Mary “Mama Mary” Lucarini nee Tucciarelli. Age 101. Lifelong resident of the “Hungry Hill” Neighborhood of Chicago Heights. Retired Park Attendant for the Chicago Heights Park District as well as a magnificent cook working at the 3Star, Valentino’s and other various restaurants in the Chicago Heights area including the infamous Mama Mary’s Restaurant on 24th Street and East End Avenue. Wife for 25 years of the late Augusto Lucarini. Mother of Dante Lucarini, Rosemary (late John) DeBergh and Ronald “Ronnie” Lucarini. Grandma of Jason (Christy Brown) DeBergh and the late Ryan DeBergh. “Nonni” of Rocco and Bronx DeBergh. Daughter of the late Antonia nee Pagiossi and Cataldo Tucciarelli. Sister of the late Steve (late Mildred) Tucciarelli, Dominic (late Dematria) Tucciarelli, Carmella (late Fred) Flamini, Josephine (late August) Mattio, Vincent (late Mary) Tucciarelli and 2 predeceased brothers in Italy. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friend of many. Mary will be dearly missed by her favorite pal Cali. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Wednesday April 26, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services at funeral home Thursday April 27, 2023 10:00 am. No exaageration. Truly a Chicago Heights legend..With her phenominal cooking and overwhelming kindness, She kept us fed in mind body and spirit.

Aunt Mary you will be missed by so many. Your house was always open, and I spent a lot of time there growing up. I was so looking forward to seeing you in May, but God had other plans. Rest in Peace, love you forever. You were the best
