Active member in the American Legion Auxiliary and Seven-time Past President of the 3rd District; Past Unit President of the Cobden Unit #259, Chesterfield Unit #695 and Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood Unit #49. Member of the Chapeau Passe South Suburban Salon #480. Longtime Volunteer at the VA Hines Hospital. Wife for 23 years of Hervey DuBois Sr. Mother of JoAnn (Skip) Nelson, Elizabeth (Frank) Huegel, Joseph (Sharon) DuBois, James (Christine) DuBois, the late Hervy DuBois Jr, CPD and Paul (Linda) DuBois. Grandmother of Francis (Audra) Nelson, Michelle (Matt) Magiera, Jennifer (Brad) Guidera, Marguerite (Dennis) Smith, Jessica (fiancé Dustin Rowe) DuBois and Eric DuBois.
