Mary A. Cavallo nee Bergera. Age 96. Born in Valperga, Province of Piedmont, Italy immigrated to United States with her family at age of 6 months. Longtime Homewood resident, formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of St Anthony of Padua Grammar School and Fenger High School. During her lifetime Mary was an active member of the Piedmontese nel Mundo, Spaghettio’s and other various organizations. Beloved wife of 51 years to late Charles A. Cavallo. Loving mother of Barbara (Michael) Hinko and David (Debra) Cavallo. Loving grandmother of Scott (Shannon), Douglas, and Jeffrey (Michael) Hinko. “Noni” of Scott, Devon and Nicholas Hinko. Daughter of the late Catherine nee Carbonalto and Peter Bergera. Dear sister of Fern (late Bud) Rebedeau and the late John (late Mary) Bergera. Loving aunt and friend to many.
