Mary Frances Daniels nee Wyse, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 28, 2020 in Crete, Illinois. Frances, as she was known to her family and friends, was born, and raised in Hall, TN, marrying her high school sweetheart, Robert “Bob” Daniels for almost 68 years. Mother of Robert David (Marie) Daniels and Sandy (Archie) Ruhlander. Grandmother of Ryan (Amy) and Gabriel (Jamie) Daniels, Jason and Christopher (Danielle) Ruhlander, Ariana Daniels and the late Heather Daniels. Great grandmother of David, Anthony, Jacob, Katie, Rafe, Dillion, Max, Aiden, Lucas, Sophia, and Evelyn. Sister of Bobby (late Eva) Wyse, Anita (Buddy) Ferguson, Brenda (late Clarence) Puckett, Kay (Buddy) Stevenson and the late Bonnie (late Dale) Williams. Longtime dearest friends of Tom and Pat Wozny. Active in the Southern Baptist Convention, Frances’ passion was her love for Jesus that she shared with everyone she met. After my freshman year of Bible college, my family relocated from Crete to South Carolina, and Bob and Frances took me into their home for an entire year while I served as a part time youth pastor at their church. Being young and inexperienced in life, I just never understood what a sacrifice that was for someone to have their privacy invaded and their groceries consumed for such a very long time. I know I thanked them multiple times for their generosity in those days, and again years later, but I also know that no amount of late thanks is adequate for what they did for me. I love Bob and Frances dearly, and I hope I somehow communicated that to them in a meaningful way. May God reward Bob and Frances forever for how they reached out to me.
