Mildred “Alice” Zerante nee Pfeifer age 87. Longtime Dolton and South Holland resident, recently of Schererville, passed away peacefully Sunday morning at her home. Loving wife of the late Mike Zerante and Peter Panozzo. Beloved and special mother of David (Pamela) and Daniel (Susan) Panozzo and Laura (Rob) Schroeder. Devoted grandmother of Vincent (Lori) Panozzo, Jamie (Kevin) Taulbee, Daniel Panozzo Jr., Ryan (Pae) Panozzo, Jenna (Ben) Kaczmarek, Scott and Michael (Liz) Schroeder. Great grandmother of Sophie, Sebastian, Elijah, Ruby, Emma, Fiona and Juniper. Sister of the late Elizabeth Edlund, Mary Ann Albrecht and Louis “Pete” Pfeifer. Longtime companion of the late Gene Tomky. Dear aunt and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Thursday November 15th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr., Dyer, IN, for visitation from 9:30 AM until time of funeral mass at 10:30 AM.
