Nick M Del Guidice. Age 95. Longtime Glenwood resident, born and raised in Chicago Heights. Graduate of Bloom High School Class of 1949. United States Air Force Korean War Veteran. Longtime parishioner of St Joseph Church in Homewood. Retired after 40 years working as a Computer Information Systems Executive. Die Hard fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football. An avid golfer and worked as a starter at Balmoral Woods Golf Course. Nick’s family enjoyed his Italian cooking and sense of humor. Husband for 53 years of the late Doris nee Tennant. Son of the late Daisy nee Poerio and Angelo Del Giudice. Brother of Jean (late Angelo) Ciambrone and the late Angie and (late Joseph) Coscarelli. Brother-in-law of the late Margaret (late Edward) Eisele. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Lying in state at St John Neumann/St Joseph Church, 17951 S Dixie Highway, Homewood on Tuesday February 10, 2026 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood. I knew Nick and his late wife Doris since 1977. Nick's sister Jean Ciambrone and I taught together in Park Forest and I got to know Nick and Doris through holiday gatherings at the Ciambrone home. So sorry for the loss of Nick, he was always so congenial.
