Patricia J. Hesser-Walsh nee Maro. Age 76. Bourbonnais resident, formerly of Beecher, Sauk Village, born and raised in Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of Fenger High School. Retired from Federal Signal. Wife of the late Dale Walsh and William Hesser. “Ma” of Lisa (William) Witt. Jennifer Hesser, William (Emilee) Hesser and the late Kimberly Hesser. Stepmother of Daniel Walsh, Stephan Walsh, Jessica (Ryan) Platt and Krystal (Clemens) Gizynski. Grandmother of Joshua Hesser, Maxx Witt, Anastasia Witt, Samantha, Madison, Kayley, Jacob, Addison, Cooper, Zoe, Daelyn, and Clemens. Great grandma of Maxx Witt Jr. Daughter of the late Clara nee Mantia and Nicholas Maro. Sister of Anthony (Maryann) Maro, Nicholas (Kristina) Maro, Robert (Lucy) Maro, Roberta (late James) Wall and Richard (Marsha) Maro. Aunt and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday April 7, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services at funeral home Saturday 10:30 am. Burial private. The Hesser family lived four houses down. Grew up around them. Kim and I became friends. Her sister Jennifer always wanted to tag along. Pat would scream out of front door watch over Jennifer. It amazed me that Kim being deaf she knew what her mom said. Pat held parties that my mom attended. Their dad and my dad both worked for Ford. The Hesser family has been through a lot. Experienced loss, love, and still they survive. She was a great lady, will be missed by many spread all over the country. Hugs and prayers to family as they celebrate her life.
