Ret. Harry E. Dantolan, C.P.D. Age 84. Lifelong Chicago resident. Graduate of Fenger High School. While in High School Harry played trumpet in the Fenger Orchestra. Graduated with a Music Degree from VanderCook College of Music. Retired after 20 years from the Chicago Police Department driving the Paddy Wagon. Son of the late Katherine nee Tufaro and Wilfred Vasso Dantolan. Brother of Ronald (late Colette) Dantolan and the late Beverly (late Raymond) Palonis. Uncle of Jodi Palonis and Dan (Michelle Bracke) Palonis. Great uncle of Vincenzo and Giancarlo Bracke-Palonis. Longtime love of Geraldine “Gerri” Gerfen. Friend of many. The family would like to recognize and thank the staff, especially the nurses and nursing assistants, at Smith Village for the excellent care they provided for Harry.
