Rita Mae LaBanco nee LaRoche, age 79. Longtime Lansing resident formerly of Calumet City and Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Born and raised in Hermansville, MI. She had served as the Office Manager for Cannon Steel Erection Company in Lansing for over 30 years. Mother of Joseph La Banco. Daughter of the late Mary (nee Hayes) and Charles LaRoche. Sister of Yvonne Arnold, Kathryn Moore, Robert, Philip, and Keith LaRoche and the late Carol Dalla Costa, Francis and Wayne LaRoche. Former wife and dear friend of the late Alex “Lakie” La Banco. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Friday Nov. 24th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
