Rose Maria DeMatteo nee Cerutti age 84. Longtime Chicago Heights resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Rose enjoyed her many many years as a cook and housekeeper at the rectories of St. Anthony, St. Kieran and Infant Jesus of Prague Church. Wife for 44 years of the late Alfred DeMatteo. Mother of Dominic (Lucy) DeMatteo, Lee (John) White, Adele (Joseph) Boehm, Francesca (Donald) Driver and Rose (Greg) Tama. Grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 7. Sister of the late Francesca and Mario Cerutti. Rose was “Nonna & Gramma” to the many many kids who walked through her front door over the years. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday December 18th from 3:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 8:00 PM.
