Ruth Joan Kumicich nee Mallek age 84. Olympia Fields resident formerly of Palos Heights. Wife for 52 years of the late John A. Kumicich. Mother of Kim Daley. Grandmother of Heather (Rich) Bennett, Patrick and Sara Daley. Great grandmother Daley Bennett. Sister of the late Dorothy May Neitzke. Born and raised in Chicago’s McKinley Park neighborhood, Ruth enjoyed her many years at Olympia Fields Country Club and wintering in Naples, Florida. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 3rd, 10:00 AM at Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 1131 Douglas Ave, Flossmoor. A reception at OFCC will follow the mass.
