Sandra M. Ziccardi nee Venditti. Age 84. Schererville, Indiana resident, formerly of Chicago Heights. Graduate of Bloom High School. Lifelong parishioner of San Rocco Church/Oratory. Worked at Venditti’s Furniture store on 115th Street in Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Wife for 60 years of Kenneth Ziccardi. Mother of John (Lisa) Ziccardi, Maria (Geoff) Blanco and Pamela (Robert) Gee. Grandmother of Aiden Blanco. Daughter of the late Mary nee Calabrace and Alex Venditti. Sister of Adele (late Sam) Rossi, Marilyn (late Frank) Jobbe, Christine (Robert) Krotser and the late Lawrence (late Norma) Venditti and Leonard (Alice) Venditti. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street, (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Tuesday June 11, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Wednesday 10:15 am from funeral home to San Rocco Oratory, 315 East 22nd Street, Chicago Heights. Mass 11:00 am. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood. So sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. We were in Garfield school at the same time, in the 1940s! Always a sweet person and a very loyal member of the San Rocco Oratory. Rest in peace Sandy.
