Stevie. Age 10. Chicago Heights resident, recently of Andalusia, Alabama. Passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Born on May 17, 2016, to Samantha Angell, Stevie brought an immeasurable amount of light, joy, and love into the world. Though Stevie faced the profound challenges of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), his life was not defined by illness, but by his vibrant spirit, infectious smile, and resilience. He was a true warrior. Stevie loved the movie Cars, and he was Lightning McQueen’s biggest fan. Beloved and adored son of Samantha Angell. Loving grandson of Fran and Bill Angell. Cherished Godson of Aunt Monica (Nick) Medina and Aunt Jillian Angell. Cousin to Ariana, Daniella, Nicholas Jr., Francelia, Pablo and Kamilah. Stevie was preceded in death by his Uncle Nicholas Henry, his Great Grandparents William and Rose Angell, Jesus and Caroline Martinez. Stevie will be greatly missed by his family, friends and teachers. Stevie is now free and running into the arms of his Angels. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
