My sincere condolences to the entire Satriano family. One if my favorite memories is the wonderful parties hosted by Terry's parents, Lou and Tony. I was only about 12 years old so Terry was only around 7 years old but I bet Terry remembered too. They had a real juke box in their backyard! Everyone was dancing and I still can hear the Platters singing Smoke gets in your eyes. Bobby was my age and Johnny a few years older. We also played softball in the street.....on 115th and Perry. Such a fun neighborhood to grow up in and all the neighbors got along. I lost touch with the Satrianos when I went away to college but I'll never forget Terry and his family. His parents were so wonderful to all us neighborhood kids. My parents, Harry and Antoinette, formed a lasting friendship with them. To the remaining Satriano family and friends-- we will see Terry again when we are resurrected. This is a promise from God according to Revelation 21:4. This is a promise from the Holy Bible.

Terry Satriano was my best friend since I was 15 years old. Many people that are married can't say that their relationship lasted 55 years, but our friendship was still going strong up to the end. I met Terry when we both went to Fenger high school. Afriend of his, TK, (he predecessed us all) introduced us. The three of us along with George Zorzi and Jimmy Cuthbert formed a gang. We named ourselves after Curtis playground where we hung out we did whatever we could, legal or otherwise, to raise money to buy matching black leather jackets at Robert Hall. Also, our friend TK wrote a song for our gang.

Tony wrote much more than was included in the comments above, including the lyrics from their imfamous gang song. They shared many trips together, lived together for a couple years in their fifties. They spent so much time together they started looking alike. Terry adored his children, family and friends. In the past couple years we talked about Jesus and heaven often. Terry wasn't the church going Jude of guy, but believed in God, and I'm sure he's waiting in heaven with a goofy look on his face, wondering what took me so long. Tony will miss Terry until they see each other again- in the place with no more tears, pain, sadness or good byes. Tony says even though they were members of a Chicago gang, he's not to tough to say he'll love his best friend always. Rest up Terry- when Ton gets there you two are going to tear the place up. Hopefully though there are no farts for you two to light in heaven. Rest well Tery, you are loved.

Condolences to your family. Look over them forever. We will all miss your friendship. I will remember the good times we had at the races, especially the deep fried turkey at the campsite. Rest well my friend.
