Former Teacher at Beacon Therapy School in Chicago, Salesman for Manfred-Meyer, and Assoc. Retired from Ford Stamping Plant as a Truck Mechanic. Active member of Our Lady of the Heights/St Kieran Church as a Eucharistic Minister, Member of the Knights of Columbus #997, Former Holy Name Society Treasurer at St Agnes Church. Husband for 53 years of Mary Ellen “Zeubie” nee Zeuberis. Father of Matthew Bijak, Stasia Bijak, Nick (Carmen) Bijak, Tom (Lindsay) Bijak, Ben Bijak and Andrew Bijak and the late John Paul Bijak.  Grandfather of Jenna Bijak, Joe Bijak, Eva Jean Bijak, Azalea Bijak, Kingston Guffey and Vivian Bijak. Son of the late Stella nee Nowak and Joseph W. Bijak. Brother of Mary Helen (Doug) Blankenberger, Bonnie (Bob) Bijak-Norush and the late Joseph (Kathy) Bijak. Uncle and friend of many.
