Tommaso Camilleri, Age 45. Passed away Friday December 8, 2023. Lifelong Steger resident. Graduate of Bloom Trail High School. Received his Bachelor’s Degree from Mount Saint Clare College. Currently working the past 20 years at Atlas Putty as a Senior Project Manager. Tommy was a Die-Hard Cub Fan and enjoyed watching wrestling. Son of the late Paulette nee DiMascio and Giacomo Camilleri. Brother of Frank (Lisa Rose) Camilleri and Giacomo “Jack” (Michelle) Camilleri. Uncle of Dominick Camilleri. Nephew, cousin, and friend of many. Closest companion “Bestie” of Elizabeth Velazquez. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 bks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Saturday December 16, 2023 from 8:00 am until time of Funeral Service 11:30 am. Masso was light. Pure and simple. The laughter, the shenanigans, the way he protected and watched over us in college, he was the nicest guy I got to call a friend. I will miss him forever. I love that when I think of him my first response is to smile from ear to ear. May God comfort his family and all who knew him. The loss is great but the impact he left behind his greater.
