Virginia Ann Tavoletti - 91

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia Ann Tavoletti, who left this world peacefully on October 10, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on May 9, 1934, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Nicholas and Cecilia Piazza, Virginia was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and friend.

As a mother, Virginia raised three wonderful sons: Nicholas Blain, Mark Tavoletti, and Michael Tavoletti. She also leaves behind her daughters-in-law Patricia Blain and Cheryl Tavoletti, her granddaughters June Gann and Brooke Joann Beeler, and her great-grandchildren Katherine Gann, Alexander Gann, and Rylee Lynn Jones. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Josephine Lee, and is survived by her two nieces, Roxanne Zoladz and Collette Bachtell.

Affectionately known as Honey Bunch, Virginia was the youngest of 38 cousins and deeply valued her family roots. She found great happiness in time spent with loved ones, especially during family gatherings, and was known by her friends for her wonderful sense of humor. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit and legacy will live on in the stories and traditions she passed down through generations and in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.

Memorial visitation at Panozzo Brothers Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights, IL on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 10:00 am until Memorial Services 12:00 pm. Inurnment Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 19500 Cottage Grove Avenue, Glenwood, IL 60425.
